We kindly recommend booking accommodation well in advance. During the summer, Salzburg attracts many tourists, and hotels tend to be fully booked early. We have arranged a block of rooms at the following hotels. Please refer to the detailed information for the reservation deadline, as well as the contact person and email address for booking. All guests staying in officially registered accommodations in Salzburg benefit from the Guest Mobility Ticket, which grants free access to the city’s public transportation network, including buses, S-Bahn trains, regional trains, long-distance trains, and Salzburg Verkehr shuttle services, throughout the entire duration of their stay. This service is covered by a local mobility fee, which is automatically included in the cost of your accommodation.

Important Details at a Glance:

• The Guest Mobility Ticket is issued digitally upon check-in or pre-check-in at your accommodation and becomes valid from that moment onward.
• The ticket is usually sent to guests electronically on the day before arrival, either as a PDF or directly to your mobile wallet.
• If you receive your Guest Mobility Ticket in advance (e.g., via pre-check-in), you may already use it for free travel from Salzburg main station or the airport to your hotel.
• If you do not receive your ticket beforehand, we recommend purchasing a short-term ticket, such as the one-hour ticket (Stundenticket), which is the most economical option for a single trip. In this case, please ask for your Guest Mobility Ticket at the reception during check-in.
• This offer applies exclusively to officially registered accommodations (e.g., hotels, guesthouses) and is not available for private rentals such as Airbnb.
